The UTM DIGITRANS team was present at the European Village in the Great National Assembly Square, alongside hundreds of enthusiastic visitors who celebrated Europe Day in Chișinău.
The event brought together EU member states and EU-funded projects from across Europe, making the 2026 edition one of the most expansive Europe Day celebrations in the Republic of Moldova. It all unfolded under the theme “Europe is YOU: Peace. Freedom. Growth” – a message that resonates deeply with our mission to contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable future.
DIGITRANS’s presence at this event was no coincidence. The Europe Day celebrations took place at a moment considered crucial for the Republic of Moldova, marked by the advancement of the EU accession process and the implementation of the EU Growth Plan, aimed at stimulating the economy and supporting internal reforms. At our stand, we had the opportunity to present the public with our solutions and innovations in the field of electric transport and digitalization – technologies that directly contribute to the energy transition and to Moldova’s European future. Participating alongside European institutions and EU-funded projects strengthened DIGITRANS’s visibility as a relevant player in the country’s sustainable innovation ecosystem, and demonstrated that our project is not merely a local initiative, but an active component of the European modernization agenda.
It was a day full of dialogue, curiosity, and meaningful connections, with young people, specialists, and citizens interested in what innovation means in the service of a more sustainable future.
